Location was very convenient to groceries, gas, and casual restaurants yet the property was a green oasis surrounded by trees and in a garden like atmosphere along a stream. Stunning. The room and bathroom were large and bright. The breakfast room and food were the lovely French experienced we hoped for. The hosts were not only special and also the French experience we hoped for BUT WE ABSOLUTELY FELT AS IF WE WERE VISITING FAMILY. We even got a tour of the other house on the grounds which was stunnung.

A really excellent experience. Beautiful grounds & woods, very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful rooms, bedrooms, sitting area, breakfast room with a breakfast befitting the room. (No hotel breakfast). A very enjoyable hostess, willing to " show-off" the property. On our list of must stays when ferry crossing to Ireland or indeed when going to Twickenham to watch Ireland beat England!!!???.

Amazing stay! We wanted somewhere near the port to start our family holiday and Le Bas was exceptional. We had the private suite which had a separate room for the kids with loads of toys (our son kept calling it the playroom!). Facilities were great, gardens beautiful and the hosts were super friendly. And the breakfast, wow! Highly recommend.

The hosting couple made us feel really welcome to their home. Help with advice for sightseeing, recommendation for restaurant etc. Breakfast was very good with homemade products.

Hosts are incredible and they serve you a true french breakfast. Seems like living for some days in a real french home. The gardens and sorroundings are amazing. From this home you can visit several must-see places by car.
